"I was delighted that the day achieved my expectations, everyone attended. I've had many people comment on how much they enjoyed the day; how much they learnt; their views on their profiles (mostly positive and to be used as a development tool but some still lacking in insight with potential blind spots that will hopefully be addressed in the ongoing follow up groups) and how well facilitated they thought the day was. The composition of the day with short, focused sessions and 1:1 and group sessions worked very well and held attention. The build up to distribution of individual profiles was well timed. Overall, a great day, really well planned and executed, thank you Jim."

I was amazed at how accurate my personal profile turned out and when I shared it with my husband that evening he agreed with the content of the document. It will be a very useful tool to help me develop certain areas in my professional life but also the days' training also informed me of my opposite personality type and how to interact and react in order to improve communication with that person, which will be helpful in many areas of my life.  Although the training was for 1 day I know I will continue to put into practice many aspects of this new found learning."

"I have been on a few of these 'team building' sessions in the past and quite frankly not got an awful lot from the days, other than enjoying them and being able to chat to others in the organisation.  Nothing seemed to happen after the event, however, this time it was different. I felt engaged during the whole of the day. I was fascinated with my profile, feeling that the majority of it summed me up quite well. It made me think about myself and, I thought, showed me the areas I could develop. I hope that the follow up is not too time consuming and demanding. As yet our group haven't met, but when we do I hope we can help each other move forward. How much we can move forward also depends on the constraints of the organisation and the opportunities within it to develop.So, I found the day well worth while.  The content was good as was the variety of activities that helped keep my interest throughout the day - particularly the ball games. It was pitched at the right level, for me. Jim is approachable, interesting and obviously knows what he is talking about and is a good motivator."

"I thought that the whole day was well thought out and met the overall objectives. I found it to be a very professional course and would recommend it to others. Jim worked well with the team and responded to the comments made by the group members, changing his style in order to develop rapport. Assessing our own personal preferences was useful, as was letting other group members offer each other cards as this gave the individual some indication of how others viewed them. As most of the team were in the green/ yellow zones it felt very overwhelming when we all stood on the circle at the same time. Excellent day and I have recommended it to the remainder of the team. Can you thank Jim, as his style is what made it so successful. "I would first like to say how enjoyable the day was. It was well-paced, with plenty of time for any questions that we had, and there was plenty of opportunity for all to have our say. Most of all, it was incredibly informative with the profiles giving real insight into the way we behave and react in various situations. Personally, I have been reflecting on what the profile said about me and it has made me realise things about myself that I sort of knew, but tried to ignore. There was nowhere to hide once I'd read my profile! For all of us, it should give us a better understanding of the communication styles of others, and hence, it should give us tools for better communication within Blythe House.
